It is not often one looks to the majesty of the Inspectorate for jokey asides. But Kathy Fairweather, the chief inspector whose many responsibilities include assessment, seemed to be positively enjoying herself last week.
“The Education Minister has asked HMI for a review of assessment and testing,” she told a Glasgow conference, adding emphatically: “And she’s going to get it.”
We can hardly wait.
