Assault case is dropped

No charges will be brought against a maths teacher at a top Swansea secondary school who was arrested on an allegation of assaulting a child, South Wales police said this week. But Tim Williams, chair of governors at Olchfa comprehensive, said 53-year-old David Aldridge, of Dunvant, Swansea, remained suspended pending procedures.
