This is Halloween
Shared by sueemc, this assembly starts with a quiz to test how much pupils know about the history of Halloween. There is a safety message, too, to ensure pupils are respectful trick-or-treaters. Why not ask what pupils plan to do for Halloween? What costume will they wear? Who is going to a party? And who is in it just for the sweets?
You could discuss how Halloween is celebrated around the world. Did you know that turnips, instead of pumpkins, were traditionally used to make Halloween lanterns in Scotland?
