YOUR article pay in education said that classroom assistants earn ”...up to pound;11,330”. Although this may be the case in few instances it is not the norm by any stretch of the imagination.

The average hourly rate of classroom assistants is pound;4.50. If they work 30 hours in a week this will be pound;135. If they arepaid termly which is normal, they will earn pound;5,130 per year.

If by some unusual contract, the classroom assistant is paid 52 weeks a year, he or she will earn pound;6,760.
