Asylum change

Education ministers have hailed changes to the way asylum-seekers are removed from their homes. UK ministers conceded reform following pressure from pupils at Drumchapel High in Glasgow and widespread public anger at the treatment of children. Independent inspection and a new complaints procedure are part of the package.
