Asylum duo win right to schooling

Teenage asylum seekers who arrived in the UK without their parents have won a High Court battle with a council over a failure to find them places in mainstream schools. A judge ruled that Croydon Council in south London failed to consider the needs of two Afghan 14-year-olds, taking into account their age and aptitude.
