GOVERNMENT exhortations to schools to improve exam results will do nothing to improve their performance, the country’s third largest teachers’ union will claim tomorrow. The Association of Teachers and Lecturers is holding a London conference to mark the start of a new campaign against testing, targets and performance tables. It comes as The TES continues to push for more creativity in primary schools.
