The front page of the same edition reminded us that any pay rise was likely to be pegged to inflation. So let’s ak the big question: What is the starting salary (and perhaps the salary at the five and 10-year points), that’s going to get graduates (a finite group of people) to even consider joining the profession? Suggestions?
