Film Education, with Metrodome, has created a free digital resource for the new film Shooting Dogs. Set during the Rwandan genocide of 1984, Shooting Dogs tells the true story of an English teacher caught in the terrifying events as the small community he serves is torn apart by the massacre. This resource covers English and media, citizenship and history at GCSE and ASA-level, and examines the ways filmed narratives are constructed, the history of Africa, the causes of genocide and ethics.
