Fifty jobs, including those of around 20 lecturers, are at risk at Edinburgh’s Telford College. According to management, action has to be taken to clear a Pounds 250,000 deficit caused by some funding streams drying up. The unions suggest the shortfall is nearer Pounds 3 million and claim the cause is mismanagement.
