Badminton Scotland plans to use the TOP Sport programme to get more primary schoolchildren playing the game. After launching its programme at Laurencekirk Primary in Aberdeen, the game’s governing body is hopeful of increasing participation levels for years to come.

“The introduction of badminton to the TOP Sport programme will provide a fantastic opportunity for children across the country,” says development officer Rob Hardie. “The programme consists of training for teachers, resource cards and enough equipment to support a primary school.

Badminton Scotland is committed to the partnership.”
