In the light of the present world economic crisis, there is no need for costly Ofsted and HMI visits to identify the schools that are massively failing us.

Search out the schools which educated the major and minor players responsible for this financial crisis, publish the list and put all those institutions in special measures.

If the schools do not promote a more altruistic attitude in, let’s say, three months, close them down.

These elite schools are, without a doubt, the ones that are truly failing us as a society, as they have produced the visionless giants who hardly care for others and who are putting humanity at risk. I can’t wait for this list to be published.

Christophe Chevaugeon, Teacher and MFL resource developer, Northumberland.
