Muir Campbell shot 33 points as Marr College won the Royal Bank Scottish Schools Cup Boys’ Open by 81-79 over Portobello High. It was the 21st boys’ cup the Troon school has won, which is a record. Campbell took 10 rebounds and had 11 assists.

Stewart’s Melville College became the first private school to win a national trophy when it beat Doon Academy 46-16 in the final of the boys’ Under-15 B competition, with Adrian Duncan scoring 26 points.
