Battle against obesity

A senior health official has called on schools to tackle rising obesity by issuing permits limiting the number of parents who drive their children to the school gates. Tim Crayford, president of the Association of the Directors of Public Health, said teachers need to take tougher action to combat the growing number of overweight pupils.
