Beer is best for passing exams

Drinking coffee or beer is more helpful before an exam than a glass of orange or listening to music, according to a professor of cybernetics.

Kevin Warwick, of Reading university, was due to tell a conference yesterday that his study of 200 university students had found that coffee and alcohol had more positive effects on short-term performance than orange juice, classical music or last-minute revision. www.cipd.co.ukHRD
