The last we heard of Sir Ken Robinson, former professor of arts education at Warwick university and author of the influential All Our Futures report on creativity, he was sailing off to take up a prestigious appointment at the J. Paul Getty Center in Los Angeles. Now we hear he has become a regular confidant of none other than the Austrian Oak himself: governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger.

“When you have to deliver an address and The Terminator is in the front row you are keen it goes well,” Sir Ken said. “I call him Arnie. The first time I met him he came up to me and said ‘I’m Arnold Schwarzenegger’ and all I could say was ‘Of course you are’.”
