The winners of the English Association’s best illustrated children’s books of 2010 have been announced. The key stage 1 fiction award was won by The Black Book of Colours by Menena Cottin and Rosana Faria and the key stage 2 fiction award went to Oliver Jeffers for The Heart and the Bottle. Jeannie Baker’s Mirror scooped the key stage 1 non-fiction award and Taff in the WAAF by Mick Manning and Brita Granstrom came top of the key stage 2 non-fiction category.
