I would think very hard before spending money on a globe, such as the Geoglobe, that has extra gimmicks - it is too easy to think of other priorities. So, for me, the best way to spend money might be, for a basic classroom globe, either the Physical Globe or the Political Globe (Pounds 15.99). Because the Physical Globe does also have some political data on it, and excellent representations of what the earth’s surface is like, I would personally prefer it, especially for the primary classroom. Additionally, many schools will have a use for the Planet Earth Globe (Pounds 39.95), which is a real reminder that we actually do inhabit a beautiful blue planet hanging in space.
