The Royal National College for the Blind has expanded its A-level courses to include subjects from psychology to health and social care to reflect its growing popularity and the rising number of students going on to university.

Principal Geoff Draper said: “Sometimes our students are unsure whether higher education is an option for them when they arrive. But with hard work and the excellent teaching and support our staff offer, we see many go on to achieve their ambitions of a university place each year.”
