SCHOOLS minister David Miliband has announced anotherpound;1.85 million for the Government’s private-state school partnership scheme. Over the past five years, it has funded 180 state-independent partnerships. The new money will be allocated over three years, increasing funding for the project from pound;1.25m in 20034 to pound;2m in 20056. Mr Miliband said: “Raising standards across secondary schools means sharing expertise from every source.”
