Boys not keen on teaching

Only 1 per cent of boys said they wanted to become a teacher when they left school in a survey for BskyB. Of 265 boys, only four opted for the profession, while 38 girls out of 258 (15 per cent of the 523 11 to 18-year-olds surveyed) said it was the career they most coveted. More than one in five said they wanted jobs in health and sport.
