Bradford snubs Government’s broadband consortium

Education Bradford has opted out of the Government’s broadband consortium because its five-year pound;2.5 million deal with Telewest for its 203 schools represents a better deal, according to a report on VNU’s online news service. The schools get a 10 megabits-per-second connection and 85 of the authority’s 203 schools are connected.
