Breakfast boosts serial scholars

Children who eat cereal are more alert and have fewer memory and attention span difficulties than those who skip breakfast, according to research from Cardiff university commissioned by Kellogg's Corn Flakes. The two-week survey, of 213 children aged 4-11 from 153 families, found pupils who have breakfast are better prepared for school, less tired and anxious - and have fewer stomach complaints. See
