Murk (v, also spelt merk or mirk)

Means To be defeated heavily at something, proven incorrect or beaten up.

Usage “I’m going to murk you”, “Paul got murked, big time”

A chorus of laughs, one solitary red face and the sign-off of “You got murked” - you can be sure that someone’s just lost a highly competitive round of Tiddlywinks (or, more likely, a round of Team Deathmatch on Call Of Duty the night before) and are being reminded of that fact for embarrassment purposes. Yet if you heard murk mentioned in certain less savoury areas of your hometown, you might well fear for your life as in gangland murked is slang for murdered. But in the classroom it’s almost certainly an innocent humbling of some kind.
