What do James Bond author Ian Fleming and Boxgrove Man have in common? Both the writer and the prehistoric man hail from the Arun Valley and both are featured in the Look and Sea! Visitor Centre in Littlehampton, West Sussex.

Interactive displays and hands-on activities take visitors through local history, geography and geology from the Stone age to the present day.

Pupils can try out the Roman board game ‘Tabula’, handle the fossil collection, make a Bronze-Age style coil pot, or take in 360 degree views of the town, harbour and the South Downs from the viewing tower.

Admission costs pound;2.70 per child (one adult free with every 10 pupils.
