A 27-strong team from central and eastern areas has been set up to promote Scotland’s national junior golf strategy, clubgolf, in schools.

Twenty active schools co-ordinators from primary schools, six sports development officers and a disability development officer are the first in the country to be trained as clubgolf regional tutors.

Clubgolf projects have so far introduced over 2,500 primary children to the game.
