* The tributes to Ted Wragg from people like John Prescott are, I am sure, well meant. However, they are partly designed to reclaim him from the people for the politicians. What we need is a public subscription to erect a statue of Ted Wragg waving a copy of The TES outside the DfES. That would show them.
