Colourful on-screen robots that can be built and programmed by children are part of the latest version of Juniors, the online subscription service for primary schools. According to the creators, the activities exploit gaming techniques while hitting curriculum targets for science and control technology. A typical primary school subscription works out at roughly pound;2.48 per pupil per year, with savings on bulk purchases. Somerset local authority has just signed up for 220 of its schools.
