The government in Bangladesh is preparing new pay scales for teachers to mitigate their financial problems, and planning a new curriculum to raise standards. It was also essential for teachers to have “modern and quality” training if they were to help the next generation build a prosperous country, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said.
