WATERLOO WEEK AT NO 1 LONDON

Apsley House, Hyde Park Corner, the London home of the first Duke of Wellington is offering free admission on both weekends and on Waterloo Day (June 18). Daily events will include tours and talks from experts on Waterloo banquets, porcelain and silver gifts presented to the Duke, and the art of Napoleon. On Waterloo Weekend, June 21-22, meet Regency ladies and Wellington’s redcoats in historical uniform and hear talks on “A soldier’s life and Waterloo: the battle explained” and “Napoleon and his legacy”.
