FREE ICT CONFERENCES
Educational technology company RM will hold conferences in Birmingham, Coventry, Wales, London, Manchester, Bristol, Newcastle and Glasgow for senior managers, heads and deputy heads on how to use ICT in schools.
Speakers will include Owen Lynch and Niel Mclean, chief executive and director of learning respectively at Becta, and Stephen Heppell, director of Anglia Polytechnic University’s Ultralab.

Trestle Theatre Company run these teachers’ workshops at Trestle Arts Base, St Albans, Hertfordshire, from 10.30am to 5pm. The first will cover techniques such as hot-seating, characterisation and improvisation, and explore developmental work and devising. The second will look at presentation techniques such as masks, animation and physical theatre. DRAMA MASTERCLASSES
The Theatre Royal Haymarket, London SW1, runs year-round workshops and talks for ages 17 to 30 led by most outstanding actors, directors, designers and writers in theatre today. All run from 2.30 to 5pm. The spring season starts with Opening Doors - Acting, March 9, in which a panel comprising an actor, agent and director will explore the realities of acting.
