Two-thirds of British finance directors are in favour of higher business taxes - provided that the money is spent on education. A quarterly survey of leading figures in business and public institutions by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants has found widespread dissatisfaction with the education system: 67 per cent believe that it provides “an inadequate preparation for working life”.
