Recent decisions by the examination boards on electronically transmitted entries and results appear to have resulted in a substantial vote of confidence for BT’s Campus Connect. NEAB, SEGAEB, UCLES, Oxford Delegacy, ULEAC and Welsh are all reported to be about to write to schools naming Campus Connect as their preferred carriers for 1995, and MEG will also take entries from Campus for the first time.

Up to 50 per cent of schools sent exam entries by modem last year. There are considerable cost savings to be made and results are also received earlier, in a format which easily allows the preparation of pupil data and school result statistics.
