* Three characters called Drippy, Splash and Drop have been employed by Northumbrian Water to star in their new CD-Rom aimed at eight- and nine-year olds.The interactive Splash Into the World of Water guides children through the process of how rain becomes tap water and how waste water is treated. It also toucheson environmental issues, history and geography.The CD-Rom is available, free, toall schools in the North-east, but schools in other parts of thecountry they will be charged Pounds 49.95.
