It’s nice to talk - but to whom? That’s been something of a problem for schools getting involved in video-conferencing - using their computers to work collaboratively with other schools so that they can see and hear each other and work together on the same on-screen documents. While you can look up other telephone subscribers in a directory, no such facility has existed for video-conferencing. Until now that is.

The National Council for Educational Technology has just launched a directory on its Web site, detailing 90 schools using the technology, and BT has sponsored a paper version to be distributed to schools and education authorities.
