* The NCET was bombarded by CD-Rom titles during its government-funded programme to equip primary schools with CD-Rom machines. An army of researchers and reviewers had to be hired, a new building leased and computer networks purchased. The result is CD-Rom Titles Reviews 1995 probably a comprehensive round-up of educational CD-Rom titles.
It is available in book form from the NCET for Pounds 8.50, and all the reviews can be browsed through on the Internet at the NCET’s World Wide Web site at http:ncet.csv.warwick.ac.ukWWWprojectsCD-ROM evaluations index. html. The NCET will add new reviews for future editions.

* The Independent Schools Information Service (ISIS), which already publishes Choosing Your Independent School, is due to launch a Multimedia ISIS Guide on CD-Rom, featuring more than 300 schools . Parents will be able to select schools on the basis to their own own requirements size, fees location, boarding or day by viewing an audio-visual presentation.
