The 66 Egyptian teachers who spent three months in Scotland studying the education system here were “always amazed” at the friendly relationships which can exist between teachers and pupils, according to Ismail Ghita of Strathclyde University, writing in Prism, the university’s magazine.
On the distaff side, however, they also expressed “astonishment at the sometimes undisciplined nature of students”.
Scottish students undisciplined? Must be some mistake surely.
