Call for guidance on autistic pupils

Teachers need better training and guidance in order to help autistic pupils, according to the National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER). An NFER report says children with autism are more likely to be excluded and are underperforming. Researchers have called for teachers to improve the way they assess pupils.
