Amarjit Basi, principal of Walsall College in the West Midlands, became a member of a widely envied group of college bosses when he was officially given keys to the new Pounds 64 million Wisemore Campus from the developers, Shepherd Construction.
Wisemore, which boasts more than 100 teaching rooms, is part of Walsall First, an initiative between Tesco, Walsall College, Walsall Council and Walsall Regeneration Company. It opens in September.
