Can only silent Christians teach?

It disturbs me that your reporting of the Jennie Cain incident, whereby she was disciplined for sending an email to friends, appears to be so one-sided (“The Week”, TES, February 20).

From the Daily Telegraph, it appeared she sent a private email to Christian friends asking them to pray about the incident involving her little girl.

Surely Jennie has every right to take such a course of action?

The Bible does teach that those who do not believe in Jesus will go to hell and, although many non-believers will be offended by this statement, it is true.

I am starting to feel that soon only silent Christians will be allowed to teach in our state schools.
