I don’t want to spoil the party at the Grant-Maintained Schools Foundation (“Parents back Blair over opting out”, TES, May 19) but before they crack open the bubbly shouldn’t they ask themselves why the enormous vote of confidence is not manifesting itself in more schools opting out?
