Your view in pictures

Welcome to Capture, the new Friday column where you can put your school in the picture. We’re looking for snapshots of school life taken by you or your pupils.

* Top left: 150 children across London recorded “A day in my life” for a Children’s Fund photography project. Here’s “My Mum watching TV” by Luke, 8, from Hounslow.

* Above: the sunflower is the symbol of Coombes school near Reading. It makes appearances across the curriculum, including this, in the environmental alphabet.

* Left: London’s iconic Routemaster bus made its final journey on December 8, 2005, when the 159 set off from Marble Arch to Streatham Hill. Teacher Michael Kelleher from Corpus Christi primary school on Brixton Hill took this as staff and pupils came out to wave goodbye.
