Welcome to the new slot in Friday magazine where you put your school in the picture. We’re looking for intriguing images of school life taken by you or your pupils

* Every one of the 1,800 pupils at the King John school in Benfleet, Essex, has outdoor education on their timetable. Last month Year 8 built a shelter in Shipwright’s Wood in Thundersley as part of survival training. Barry Howard of Hunter Outdoor Training took this picture at the end of their labours

* Year 7 from Bishop Rawsthorne C of E language college in Lancashire designed their own school chapels as part of an RE unit. Teacher Tracy Swindells says some even had working lights in them

* The boys from Liz Cuthbertson’s Year 5 class at Collingwood primary school in Hull line up during dance rehearsals for a production of Grease held in the town’s Northern Theatre last summer
