Careers advice not good enough

MORE than three-quarters of 16 to 19-year-olds say they have not received enough careers advice, according to a survey of 1,000 students by recruitment consultancy Office Angels. More than three-quarters said careers advice at school was inadequate, while 95 per cent said they would have benefited from more work placements. Just 20 per cent said that salary was the number one factor in choosing a job.
