Around 60,000 children and young people are living in residential or foster care in the UK. They now have their own website courtesy of the Who Cares? Trust in recognition of the need for young people to share their experiences with others from similar backgrounds.

Facilities on its secure area, CareZone, include Cyberspace Adventurers, an activity designed to encourage safe internet use. The site features robust security, including smartcards and PIN numbers, and adults granted access have to be checked by the police. New features include a careers area (with sections for carers and professionals) and OI (online information).
