East Renfrewshire is to create a Pounds 30,000 two-year post to co-ordinate three projects being built with private finance, including a new building at Mearns primary and an extension to St Ninian’s High at a combined cost of Pounds 10 million. The council found the preparatory work “extremely time-consuming and complex”.
