More than 300,000 young people have signed up with SwapitShop, the cash-free auction site for young people aged 6 to 18.

Trading everything from iPods to wristbands, SwapitShop gives young people real economic power, enabling them to take part in the auction phenomenon in a safe environment. A currency called Swapits is used instead of cash, so no money changes hands. All items are vetted before being listed and sold items are sent to SwapitShop to forward to the buyer. There is no contact between users, no chatrooms, forums or message boards.
