“It’s absolutely spot on” says Judith Gillespie of the Scottish Parent Teacher Council, describing the St Paul’s approach. “When you ask parents what they really want, it is not a formal interview but a casual chat, something nice and low key where they can ask the odd question. The system has to adjust to parents’ real demands and not try to draw them in to something they do not want.”
