Children’s authors Philip Pullman and Michael Morpurgo are among celebrities supporting the new Love Libraries campaign, launched by David Lammy, minister for culture, this week. The campaign wants libraries to review opening hours and book stocks, and suggests they also hold celebrity-led events. www.lovelibraries.co.uk
