THE Executive symbolically chose to send Margaret Curran, Social Justice Minister, to inaugurate work on the new pound;1.4 million employment and learning centre being built by the Royal National Institute of the Blind Scotland at Jewel and Esk Valley College’s Milton Road campus in Edinburgh.

The centre will have up to 100 blind and partially sighted students from Scotland and the north of England when it opens next year.
